Starting NaNoVideos 2010
We started shooting our 2010 NaNoVideos this week, and I thought I’d share a couple of behind-the-scenes photos of the staff’s intense creative process. Our patient videographer is the talented Dave Pursell; this short film of his made Lindsey laugh out loud in the office.
The first day’s call sheet had us exercising outside in 94-degree heat. We are smiling here because we don’t yet know the extent of our discomfort. Also, I had to pretend that I couldn’t do push-ups. In real life, I can do hundreds of push-ups. Seriously. Maybe even thousands.
Dave coached me for hours to convincingly appear to be working. He is truly the Scorsese to my DeNiro. Concerned executive producer Lindsey keeps telling me I better not blow my take. I’m not sure what Tavia’s doing.
