30 Covers, 30 Days: Meet the Designers!

The Cyborg and the Sorcerers: Best book cover ever?
You’ve heard the phrase “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” but the fact is, most of us judge books heavily by their covers. A great cover can make you buy an otherwise average book, and a terrible cover can stop you from getting a terrific book. Last year, because we’re such book design nerds, we began the “30 Covers, 30 Days” program.
This year, “30 Covers, 30 Days” has expanded. Here’s how it works: We will choose 30 participant authors to receive covers by our design dream team (headed by John Gall and listed in full below). Each superstar designer on our team will receive a title and plot synopsis for a planned NaNoWriMo novel or novel-in-progress. He or she will have just 24 hours to create a book cover to accompany the title.
We’ll post one of the book cover designs here on our blog each day of November. If you’re a NaNoWriMo participant and want to be considered for selection, all you have to do is post a title and synopsis on your author profile. Then, once November begins, make sure you’re on pace with your word count and post an excerpt of your novel. We’ll choose plots from a wide range of genres, languages, and geographic locations so everyone has a fair chance.
Check out the list of designers below - we’re incredibly excited to work with them!
