Edmonton! The capital of Alberta, Canada, and home to one of the coolest, proudest, Wrimo-iest regions around. It’d have to be, wouldn’t it, since Sarah Mackey, NaNoWriMo’s Community Liaison hails from here, as does former intern and current ML Paige.

The Edmonton region rundown:

Ah, the City of Angels. Home to celebrities known around the world such as Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon, and NaNoLA’s Lucky the Lemur. How could you not get starstruck by Lucky’s cute, cuddly, over-caffeinated presence? Sure, lemurs may not be native to Los Angeles, but it’s a region perfect for the out-of-place.

The Los Angeles region rundown:

Tina has been an ML in the Philippines region for five years, and was joined by Liana in 2010. The NYC and London MLs are super rad, but Tina and Liana are keeping an entire country racing towards 50,000 words.

Tina was kind enough to jot down a quick guide to noveling in the Philippines. Guys. They have a local varietal of coffee that is mighty-man strong. Game changer.
